Stearic Acid

Stearic Acid used as a thickening agent in lotion, this vegetable-derived waxy substance is also used as a hardening agent in soaps. Adds a silky “pearl” effect to creams and lotions. Used in soapmaking to make a hard bar of soap. Thickens and stabilizes lotion formulations very well.

How To Use

Ingredients: Combine to create your own soap, lotion, bath bomb, or cosmetic recipes.

Additives: Clays, colorants, infusions (herbs or spices) in oil, exfoliants, preservatives, butters, and other ingredients for you to add to your special soap making recipes.
